Privacy Policy

    Last updated: 2026-06-10

This Privacy Policy describes how Oddify LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the Oddify mobile application ("the App"). It is written to match the data declarations we have submitted to Apple in App Store Connect. If those declarations and this policy diverge for any reason, the more protective wording governs.

    1. Information We Collect

The data types listed below match the privacy declarations on our App Store listing. Across the App we collect five data types: Name, Email Address, User ID, Device ID, and Product Interaction.

    Data Linked to Your Identity

The following data is collected and linked to your identity:

    • Name (Contact Info) — the display name you choose when signing up. Used for Analytics.
    • Email Address (Contact Info) — used for App Functionality (authentication, account recovery, transactional emails such as password reset), Product Personalization, and the Developer's Advertising or Marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time without affecting account functionality.
    • User ID (Identifier) — an account identifier assigned when you sign up. Used for Analytics and App Functionality (syncing your watchlist, picks and subscription across devices).
    • Device ID (Identifier) — device and advertising identifiers (including Apple's IDFA, collected only when you grant permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt). Used for the Developer's Advertising or Marketing, Third-Party Advertising, and Analytics. This data type is used for tracking purposes as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. See Section 4 for full details.

Data Not Linked to Your Identity

The following data is collected but is not linked to your identity:

    • Product Interaction (Usage Data) — which screens you view, which sports you open, which features you use. Used for App Functionality (improving relevant content), Product Personalization (showing you the sports and predictions most relevant to your usage), and Analytics (measuring feature adoption).

We do not collect: precise location, photos, contacts, browsing history outside the App, health data, or financial information beyond what Apple shares with us as part of subscription processing.

    2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

    • Operate the App (authenticate sign-ins, sync your watchlist and bet history across devices)
    • Provide AI-powered sports predictions and analysis
    • Improve the App's content and feature set based on aggregate usage patterns
    • Communicate with you about your account and, with your consent, product updates
    • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access

We do not sell your personal information.

    3. Subscriptions and Payments

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment card details, billing address, or Apple ID password. Apple shares with us only the information necessary to verify your subscription status (a transaction identifier and the subscription product purchased). See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles your payment information.

    4. Advertising, Analytics & Tracking

    What we use

Our iOS app integrates the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure the performance of our advertising, optimize ad delivery, build audiences, and view app analytics.

What is collected and shared with Meta

We collect and share with Meta: device and advertising identifiers (including Apple's IDFA, only when the user grants permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt), app and device information, and standard app events such as completing registration, starting a payment, and subscribing (including the purchase value, currency, and plan). This information is shared with Meta Platforms, Inc. acting as an independent controller for its own advertising purposes. See Meta's Data Policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php

    App Tracking Transparency & consent

On iOS 14.5+, before any cross-app/cross-site tracking, we show Apple's "Allow Tracking" prompt. Tracking and IDFA-based attribution only occur if the user taps "Allow." Users can change this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. For EU/EEA/UK users, this consent is the legal basis for tracking; our other analytics rely on legitimate interest, which users may object to.

    Without consent

If the user declines tracking, we still receive limited, privacy-preserving, aggregated measurement via Apple's SKAdNetwork, but no device-level identifier or cross-app tracking.

    International transfer

Data shared with Meta is processed in the United States and other countries; transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses / the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

    User choices / opt-out

Users can (a) decline or revoke the ATT permission in iOS Settings, (b) adjust ad preferences in their Meta account settings, and (c) contact us at info@oddify.ai to exercise GDPR rights (access, deletion, objection).

    5. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following service providers, each subject to its own privacy policy:

    • Supabase (database, authentication, storage) — privacy policy: https://supabase.com/privacy
    • Apple App Store / StoreKit (subscription processing) — privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
    • Meta Platforms, Inc. (advertising measurement and optimization) — data policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php
    • Sports data providers (Ball Don't Lie, The Odds API, StatPal, api-tennis.com) — these provide public sports data to the App; we do not share your personal information with them.

    6. Data Retention

    • Account data (name, email) is retained for as long as your account is active.
    • If you request deletion of your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, transaction records required for tax or audit purposes).
    • Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

    7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

    • Access the personal information we hold about you
    • Correct inaccurate information
    • Delete your account and associated personal information
    • Export a copy of your data in a portable format
    • Object to or restrict certain processing
    • Opt out of advertising tracking and IDFA-based analytics (see Section 4)

To exercise any of these rights, email info@oddify.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

EU/EEA users have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is sold or disclosed (we do not sell personal information).

    8. Children's Privacy

Oddify is not directed to children under 17 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact info@oddify.ai and we will delete it.

    9. International Transfers

Oddify is operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the US, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the US. By using the App, you consent to such transfer.

    10. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) for all network communication and encryption at rest for stored data. However, no system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email.
